TSP Executive Strategy Seminar, first time in Portugal
At the week of SEPG Europe 2010, Strongstep in conjunction with the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) taught for the first time in Portugal the "TSP Executive Strategy Seminar" course which took place on Friday, July 2nd.

The TSP/PSP is a methodology to manage teams and individuals with proven results on large companies such as Microsoft, Intuit and Adobe. Engineering groups use the Team Software Process (TSP) to apply integrated team concepts to the development of software-intensive systems. The TSP, along with the Personal Software Process (PSP), helps the high-performance engineer to ensure quality software products, create secure software products and improve process management in an organization.
This course, taught by James Over (SEI) and by João Pascoal Faria (Strongstep), covered the following topics:
* The basic concepts on which the TSP is built;
* How the TSP can effectively improve software development activities and provide positive motivation for engineers and project team;
* How to use the TSP to address current and future software needs;
* How to successfully introduce and maintain TSP; and
* What management must do to help their teams be successful.
All the attendees of this course, had the pleasure to meet the SEI Director, Dr. Paul Nielsen, who made an introduction to the training.
New editions of this course will be announced soon. Further information about the course can be found here.
